Free Tutoring

Tutoring is available on campus in two different formats- "walk-in" or "by appointment". Go to http://www.elon.edu/tutoring. Then on the Walk-in Tutor Schedule where there will be a list of days, times, subjects and tutors available in the library tutoring center for walk-in tutoring (no appointment necessary, students may simple go when they need help).

Click on By-Appointment Tutor List which provides a list of subjects and tutors one can call for help on an individualized basis. The student and tutor will need to set up a time mutually convenient to meet. Setting up a regular schedule with a tutor is strongly encouraged. These tutors are busy and may have other demands on their time. Having a set schedule to meet will avoid scrambling for help at the last minute.

Should a student need a tutor for a class where no tutor is listed, he or she should contact the Director of Academic Progress immediately.
