Football Alum Returns to Elon in Video Coordinator Role


ELON, N.C. -- Former Elon football player Daronce Daniels has returned to his alma mater to serve in the role of athletics video coordinator. 

Daniels returns to Elon after spending time as a video producer for Radio-One Cincinnati.  He also spent a year as a video producer with the athletic department at Ohio University.

In his role at Ohio, Daniels shot and captured all Ohio athletic events and edited and uploaded packages for OhioBobcats.com.  While there he won an Emmy for a sports feature.

Daniels earned his bachelor's degree in communications from Elon in 2009 and has won multiple awards from his work submitted in film festivals.

In four years in the maroon and gold as a linebacker, Daniels appeared in 41 games, amassing 152 total tackles, 13.5 tackles for a loss and three sacks.  He also intercepted five passes and forced five fumbles in his career.
