CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Elon senior
Adam Shreiner four Southern Conference kickers to appear on the watch list for the College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) Placekicker Award.
During his junior campaign Shreiner connected on 10 of his 15 field goal attempts and was a perfect 33-of-33 on PATs. From inside of 40 yards he made nine of his 10 tries. Shreiner booted a career-long 50-yard field goal in a contest at Samford. He earned SoCon Special Teams Player of the Week honors following a four field goal week, including a 33-yarder in overtime, in a win over The Citadel. He finished the season with 63 points.
Shreiner enters his senior season with 216 career points, eighth on Elon's all-time chart. His 34 career field goals made are the fourth-best total in program history.
The goal of College Football Performance Awards is to provide the most scientifically rigorous conferments in college football. Recipients are selected exclusively based upon objective scientific rankings of the extent to which individual players increase the overall effectiveness of their teams.
