On the Pitch Archive: Daniel Lovitz
As the 2013 Elon men's soccer season continues to approach, Elonphoenix.com will begin to highlight members of the 2013 squad throughout the preseason with series of player profiles. The profiles will give fans, family and friends an inside look at the two-time defending Southern Conference tournament champions prior before the start of the regular-season on Aug. 30 vs. Northeastern in the Duke Classic in Durham, N.C.
Our next player in the player profile series is rising junior forward Jason Waterman. The Bloomington, Ind., native came on strong during the second half of the 2012 season, scoring two goals in a key double-overtime road victory at Georgia Southern. He also had an assist in the SoCon Tournament championship match as the Phoenix defeated Wofford 2-1 to clinch its second straight league tournament title and NCAA Tournament appearance.
