ELON, N.C. – Elon University head men's tennis coach
Michael Leonard announced the signing of Felipe Osses-König for the 2016 season on Wednesday, Nov. 19.
Listed as a four-star player on tenniscruiting.net and the 96th-ranked athlete in the nation, Osses-König is a member of the John McEnroe Tennis Academy in New York. He has posted 48 victories as an amateur. He reached a national ranking as high as No. 78 in the nation this year, as well.
A native of Rego Park, N.Y., Osses-König was the top-ranked high school player last season as a junior at the Beacon School. He is the Beacon School Math Club President and co-founder of the Science Club and Get Fit.
