Phoenix Men Place Fifth at Wofford Invitational X [4/13/2010] The Elon Phoenix fired a team-best round of 288 during Tuesday's final round of the Coca-Cola Wofford Invitational to finish in fifth place among the 13 participating teams. Elon in Middle of Pack at Wofford Invitational X [4/12/2010] After playing 36 holes on day one of the Coca-Cola Wofford Invitational, the Elon Phoenix men's golf team sits in the middle of the pack. Judy Paces Elon to Tie for Ninth in Final Fall Tourney X [11/4/2009] The Elon men's golf team improved six spots after firing a final round 285 to finish with a two-round score of 580 and placed in a tie for ninth among the 18 teams at The Hummingbird Intercollegiate hosted by Western Carolina on Tuesday. Jayson Judy led the Phoenix push with a final round of 71, which, when combined with his first round score of 70, gave the senior a 141 to tie for 10th individually. Judy Leads Elon at Hummingbird Intercollegiate X [11/2/2009] Jayson Judy shot a one-under par 70 to tie for eighth individually while the Elon Phoenix sits in a tie for 15th place with a first round 295 following Monday's round of The Hummingbird Intercollegiate hosted by Western Carolina at the Country Club of Sapphire Valley. Judy Places Third at Davidson College Invitational X [10/13/2009] Phil Bartholomew shot a final round 68 and Jayson Judy finished in third place, but the Elon Phoenix men's golf team finished ninth out of the 12-team field at the Davidson College Invitational on Tuesday. Judy carded a third round 74 to go with his rounds of 74 and 73 on Monday to finish with a total score of 221. As a team, the Phoenix shot rounds of 309-309-301 for a final tally of 919. Elon Battles Cool Temperatures, Rain at Davidson Invite X [10/12/2009] Playing in rainy conditions with temperatures hovering in the mid-50s, the Elon men's golf team struggled through 36 holes on the first day of the Davidson College Invitational to sit in ninth place among the 12 participating programs.
