2015: Played in 28 matches on the season, earning the start 24 times…Led the team in both assists (851) and assists per set (8.43)…Ranked fourth in the CAA in assists per set…Third on the team with 218 digs and averaged 2.16 digs/set…Posted 34 blocks on the year…Recorded eight aces…Tallied nine double-doubles…Posted a career-high 47 assists in a five-set match at Delaware (9.4/set)…Tallied a four-set career-high of 46 assists twice (11.5/set) and 35 assists in a three-set match against N.C. A&T (11.6/set)…Recorded a career-high 18 digs in a five-set match against Hofstra…Tallied a career-high five blocks in four sets at William & Mary.

2014: Played in 22 matches on the season, earning the start in nine…Second on the team in assists (360) and assists per set (5.29)…Tallied 118 digs and five aces…Posted a season-high 40 assists in a five-set match against UNC Asheville…Recorded a season-high 14 digs in a four-set match at Towson…Tallied three double-doubles on the season…Named the team’s Most Improved.

2013: Redshirted.

High School: Four-year starter and three-year captain at Charlotte Christian…Helped team to three state quarterfinal appearances, including a school record for wins in 2012…Four-time CISAA All-Conference selection (2009-12)…Two-time NCISAA All-State selection (2011-12)…Played club for Carolina Union, attending nationals with the team in 2012.
 
Personal: Full name is Sydel Alicia Curry…Daughter of former Virginia Tech basketball player Dell and former VT volleyball player Sonya Curry…Born October 20, 1994…Brother Stephen played collegiate basketball at Davidson, currently plays for the NBA’s Golden State Warriors, has won two NBA titles through the 2016-17 season and is a two-time NBA MVP…Brother Seth played collegiate basketball at Duke and played for five NBA teams through the 2016-17 season...Majoring in psychology.
