Phoenix Tripped Up at Wake Forest

Riley Skinner passed for a career-high 289 yards and three touchdowns as the Wake Forest Demon Deacons totaled 426 yards of total offense in a 35-7 victory over the Elon Phoenix from BB&T Field on Saturday night. The Elon Phoenix became just the second Southern Conference program to earn three consecutive league victories over the Georgia Southern Eagles by claiming a 28-14 decision from a rainy Rhodes Stadium in front of 10,189 fans on Family Weekend.
