What is Elon Sports Vision?
Elon Sports Vision is a "virtual stadium" – a streamlined fan experience – where viewers can watch Elon home games live in high definition (HD). Elon Sports Vision will include live games for several of Elon's varsity athletic teams, including football, men's and women's basketball, baseball, men's and women's soccer, softball and women's lacrosse. ESV is administered by the Elon University Department of Athletics with assistance from Elon students, Elon Teaching and Learning Technologies and the Elon University School of Communications.
Where can I watch games?
All Elon Sports Vision broadcasts will be available via the Elon Sports Vision link on the elonphoenix.com home page. Broadcast schedules will be announced prior to the beginning of each Fall, Winter and Spring season. When Elon teams are on the road, select games will be broadcasted by other schools. Links will be made available on elonphoenix.com.
How much do I have to pay to watch games?
All Elon games on Elon Sports Vision are free to watch.
How many games will air on Elon Sports Vision?
The Colonial Athletic Association has partnered with FloSports as its primary media partner for the league's 22 sponsored sports. More than 300 games will air annually across the FloSports network with those events breaking down to approximately 50 football games, 140 men's and women's basketball contests and an additional 110 events. Any football, men's basketball and women's basketball home games not selected to air on FloSports will be broadcasted live on Elon Sports Vision. Select home games for every other sport will be broadcasted on Elon Sports Vision throughout the year, as well.
How can students get involved with Elon Sports Vision?
Elon Sports Vision strives to provide an engaged-learning opportunity for students at Elon University. Students interested in the areas of sports broadcasting and production get the opportunity to operate cameras, direct, and call games as play-by-play and color analysts.
