7/22/2010For the third straight year, the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) has recognized the Elon volleyball team for academic excellence. Elon, whose squad boasted a 3.446 grade point average last year, joins 71 Division I programs in receiving this honor. The award, which was initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors collegiate and high school volleyball teams that displayed excellence in the classroom during the school year.
