Elon Track and Field Named USTFCCCA All-Academic Team

The Elon University track and field team has been named a U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic team. Elon, which earned a 3.318 grade point average this past year, is one of three Southern Conference teams that received the honor. Chattanooga and Wofford were also selected as all-academic teams.A total of 130 Division I programs were recognized as 2009 All-Academic teams. To be nominated for the award, the team must carry a minimum 3.000 cumulative GPA.
