  • Elon tied the score in the bottom of the third on an RBI single from Charlie Granatell that scored Joe Yovino.
  • Elon added to their lead in the bottom of the fifth. Granatell delivered another single, this time through the left side, scoring two and giving Elon a 3-1 lead.
  • Campbell broke up the no-hit bid in the sixth and countered with a pair of runs to tie the score at three.
  • The Phoenix answered back with a run on an RBI walk from pinch hitter Shane Paradine.
  • The Camels picked up steam in the top of the seventh and answered with five runs to pull away and take a four-run lead.
  • The Phoenix failed to make up the deficit in the final innings and the final score ended the way it ended in the seventh inning, 8-4.
