Ben Sieracki threw five no-hit innings on Saturday as the Elon Phoenix (10-16, 0-5 CAA) could not close out the Campbell Fighting Camels (19-7, 3-2 CAA) at Latham Park. Elon fell Saturday evening 8-4.

Charlie Granatell finished with a pair of hits as well as driving in three runs in the loss.
James Broderick chipped in with another multi-hit game in CAA play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ben Sieracki got the Phoenix off to a terrific start with a quick, three-up, three-down inning to get Elon off to a good start.
- Sieracki continued his no-hit bid in the second inning despite the Camels picking up a run following a lead-off walk.
- Elon tied the score in the bottom of the third on an RBI single from Charlie Granatell that scored Joe Yovino.
- Elon added to their lead in the bottom of the fifth. Granatell delivered another single, this time through the left side, scoring two and giving Elon a 3-1 lead.
- Campbell broke up the no-hit bid in the sixth and countered with a pair of runs to tie the score at three.
- The Phoenix answered back with a run on an RBI walk from pinch hitter Shane Paradine.
- The Camels picked up steam in the top of the seventh and answered with five runs to pull away and take a four-run lead.
- The Phoenix failed to make up the deficit in the final innings and the final score ended the way it ended in the seventh inning, 8-4.

NOTES AND STATS
- Ben Sieracki threw a career high 98 pitches in his start Saturday. Sieracki gave a phenomenal effort, no hitting the Camels through 5.1 innings.
- Kolby Pascarelli quieted the Camels efforts in the eighth and ninth with two innings of one-hit baseball.
- Charlie Granatell finished with a multi-hit evening and drove in three runs.
- James Broderick contributed a multi-hit night as well and finished 2-for-4 with a run scored.
